Roger will be offering Foundations of Yoga classes in the Nature Center. Classes are gentle flow, with an emphasis on yoga as contemplative practice. The goal is to relax, move gracefully, and improve our mind/body integration. Maybe take a nice hike before or after! Classes are available starting In October, on Sundays and Tuesdays 9:00-10:00am.
Before we make a commitment to practicing together we set up a meeting to go over goals and aspirations, expectations, and challenges to make sure we are ready for the program. The focus of Deeper Well Being is to support the creation of a personal, independent practice of Wisdom, based on the World Health Organization’s Wellness model. Personal fitness training at the Riverplex! In DWB gettin in shape is approached with a similar philosophy to meditation and yoga: calm, consistent, patient and graceful. Our training is to help you to learn the skills to create a sustainable fitness practice of your own.
